Body fat level is an important aspect of weight control. You need to maintain low body fat levels to keep your body weight in control. Excess body fat may lead to various diseases including heart diseases. Hence it is necessary to carry out a Body Comparison Analysis regularly.

One important reason to measure body fat is because it is different to body weight. Losing body weight does not necessarily mean that you have lost body fat because it measures everything that constitutes the human body and not just the fat. Someone who looks relatively trim may in fact have high levels of body fat. So it is important to lose body fat as part of your weight loss plan.

Body fat is measured in percentage terms using various techniques. Some of the common techniques of measuring body fat level include body fat scales, hydrodensitometry, and skinfold calipers measurement. These have been explained below:
Body fat scales: In this method, a low current is passed through your body. The resistance offered to the passage of this current depends on your body fat level.

Hydrodensitometry weighing: Also known as underwater weighing or hydrostatic weighing, this method measures your body fat level by your body volume and body weight in water. Your weight is first measured outside water and then you are immersed in a pool of water. Your weight is measured under water. Your weight in water depends on the amount of fat in your body. The more the fat content of your body, the lesser your weight under water. Your body volume is measured and a formula is used to measure you body fat level.

Skinfold calipers: The skinfold calipers measurement is also kown as Anthropometry. In this method, pressure is applied on your skin and the underlying tissue using calipers. Measurements are taken at various locations on the body and a mathematical formula is used to find your body fat level.

There are also less scientific, but some would say plausible way, to measure body fat. By seeing how your clothes fit every week or two. If the clothes that normally fit perfectly are slightly loose fitted after a week or two then its a sign that you have lost some weight and possibly body fat. However, this is not an accurate measure of fat loss because it could be weight loss.

Eric Clapton, thought by many to be the preeminent guitar authority in the world, is returning to the stage in the summer of 2006. His story is one that relates directly to the decades of timeless music he has produced, and Clapton is revered by fans of several generations. His life is one of struggle and sadness, and his music is seen by many of his fans as his personal triumph over his circumstances.

Early Life

Clapton was born in 1945 in England, although he didnt really know who his parents were until later in childhood. His father was a Canadian service man who went back to Canada after World War II, and his natural mother left soon thereafter to join him. Eric was left to be raised by his grandparents, who he thought were his real parents until he was nine years old. Clapton knew his real mother as his sister, as his grandparents wanted to shield him from the stigma that came with being an illegitimate child.

Clapton was first inspired by music as a young teenager when he watched Jerry Lee Lewis perform on television, and his life-long love of the blues was born that day. He attended school with the intent on becoming a stained glass designer was derailed when he was expelled at 17 for playing his guitar in class. Despite what was seen as a setback at the time, the incident propelled Clapton into music full time.

Early Career

Clapton proceeded to work a series of low-end jobs while continuing to learn and play the blues with his guitar. In 1963, he joined a band called the Yardbirds, which just happened to boast of three enormously popular guitarists – Clapton, Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck. The band was an instant smash hit, and they were known for their bluesy style and riveting guitar melodies. However, Clapton became disillusioned with the bands progression towards mainstream rock and roll, and left the band in 1965.

Clapton spent the next year making the band the Bluesbreakers extremely popular, but in 1966, he decided to form his own band, naming it Cream.

Reaching Potential

Cream was one of the most recognizable and loved bands in the world, and every one of their albums was a huge hit. Cream was mentioned in the same breath as the Rolling Stones and the Beatles, and the trio recorded three albums before deciding to put together a farewell cut entitled Goodbye in 1969. There were many reasons for the bands break up, but drug abuse and clashing egos were seen as the primary reasons.

Later that year, Clapton became a member of rocks first super group when he teamed with Steve Winwood, Ric Grech and Ginger Baker. Although the band released only one album which was named after the band, Blind Faith climbed to number one on the North American Billboard album charts, and the work is still selling well to this day.

Going Solo

After all of his experience in highly successful bands, Clapton decided to strike out on his own, and this would prove to be an extremely wise decision. However, Clapton first had to get past his drug addiction, which was no small task. Once he had, however, he got right back into what he loved most, and released an album entitled 461 Ocean Boulevard in 1974. The album included a cover of Bob Marleys I Shot the Sheriff, which not only experienced chart success, but brought exposure to the world of reggae that was seen as the boost to the genre in general.

In the past 30 years, Clapton has released 15 studio albums which have contained songs that are considered by many to be anthems more than singles, including such mega-hits as “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door,” “Lay Down Sally,” “Cocaine” and “Wonderful Tonight.”

Bringing It All Together

The result of Claptons work goes beyond millions of records sold and tens of millions of loyal fans. He is the only artist to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame three times, has won several Grammy Awards and is known for his guitar skill in every country in the world. He has never lost his love for the blues, and continues to thrill crowds with his heart-felt renditions of his and other songs that were written over the decades, and everyone who has a chance to see him live considers it a privilege and an honor.

When it comes to choosing a hotel for your vacation, it often becomes an issue of low cost and convenient location. More often than not, particularly when traveling to major tourist areas with popular attractions, the closer the lodging is to the destination or attraction, the more expensive it will be. That is why the best way to save money on lodging is to stay in an outlying area.

Unfortunately, this might mean that you will spend more time driving to your destinations, which inevitably means more money spent on gasoline. It is important to asses all of the factors in order to make sure that staying in more distant hotel will really cost you less money.

There are several ways to save money on lodging without compromising the quality of your accommodations. For example, paying for a membership in AAA or a similar auto club also provides you with discounts on hotel rooms, as does being a member of the military or being a senior citizen. When booking a hotel room, make sure you ask about discounts that may be available.

Another tip for finding lower cost lodging is to try shopping early for your hotel room. Often, hotels will reserve a block of lower-priced rooms, available on a first come, first serve basis. Getting the best lodging deal is often based on timing and planning ahead.

Saving money on a hotel room means next to nothing if the place is a pigsty, or unsafe. Shopping for a budget hotel does not mean you have to settle for a hotel that is dirty, poorly run or in a dangerous area.

Fortunately, the Internet makes it so easy to find great deals on quality budget hotels. The Internet cuts the time it takes to research lodging down to a fraction of what it used to take. Most hotels, even budget properties, have websites and feature photos of the property, rooms, and the surrounding area. It has never been easier to research the lodging that you are considering, especially if you have never stayed there before.

Dont forget to research the area in which the hotel is located also. Be sure to check out things like restaurants and attractions within walking distance of the hotel. Amenities, especially on vacation, are important.

On the Internet there are a number of review sites available where those who have stayed in various hotels can share their experiences and their opinions of the hotels. These review sites are invaluable for travelers, especially if you are going to a place for the first time.

In addition, the Internet hosts a number of travel web sites where travelers and tourists can locate and compare lodging based on their particular need, such as for their individual dates of stay and destinations. These web sites provide several ways to search, including distance from an attraction, price, and star level. The only thing that you need to bear in mind when using such a web site is that comparison web sites only showcase properties that pay a fee, so using a particular site does not necessarily ensure the best price for your trip. For locating the best deals online, it is best to refer to several web sites in order to get a real idea of the lowest prices available.

The sale of Mp3 players is one of the fastest growing areas of consumer electronics. Whilst the apple iPod is synonymous with MP3 players there are many alternatives that should be considered when you are looking to buy.

The first thing to consider is the amount of storage available. At the lower end of the market a 512mb to 1Gb player will generally hold up to 200 songs. If you have a large music collection then you should look for Devices that offer at least 20 GBs of storage. In general every 10 GBs will hold around 2,900 MP3 files

The next thing to consider is portability; if you have an active lifestyle then you will need a player that is small and compact. If you intend to use your player whilst jogging or whilst training in the Gym then a flash based system will be a better choice as they contain no moving parts and therefore wont skip.

The type of interface is the next thing to consider, will the interface be easy to access and use on the move or will it require 100% of your attention to choose your songs. This is one area that is often overlooked and is one of the major areas of dissatisfaction among users.

The final area to consider is how the device is powered, many MP3 players come with built in rechargeable batteries, whilst these are very convenient and can last for a long time, if you are not able to recharge them or dont have access to a computer with a usb port you then you will need to wait to charge the player up.

The best deals for MP3 players are available online but before you buy make sure you know what you need. The right MP3 player is an excellent buy and will remain in use for many years, the wrong one will soon be consigned to the bottom drawer.

This is the second part of the first impressions of the remaining seven housemates as the first week of Big Brother 7 draws to a close.

Glyn Wise
Win Odds: 33/1 (Bet365)
Fervent Welshman Glyn is also up for the first eviction and still Dons the red shorts he wore on opening night as he has not been given his suitcase. Like Bonnie, Glyn is very quiet and early indications suggest he is another example of terrible miscasting. However, being a man, he will survive the first eviction at the expense of a female opponent, i.e. Bonnie, and will treat the nation to his emaciated body for another week at least.

Grace Short
Win Odds: 22/1 (Bet365)
Grace, who admitted the fame would be nice before entering the house would not be undone by the Imogen / Sezer pairing and, spying a glossy magazine deal of her own, soon latched on to Mikey and shared a kiss on day six. Other than that, she has done little in the house thus far, but is unlikely to be voted out any time soon.

Sezer Yurtseven
Win Odds: 22/1 (Bet365)
Sezer would like to think he is more popular than he actually is, but he may get a shock should he be put up for eviction. He is looking at house survival from a safety in numbers perspective and has formed an alliance with love interest Imogen, George and the pairing of Mikey and Grace, using their London social lives as a basis for common ground. He is battling for the role of alpha male in the house but could find himself come unstuck, as Maxwell did in last years show.

Lea Walker
Win Odds: 40/1 (Ladbrokes)
Lea has adopted the role of mother in the house but is another housemate who could find themselves up for eviction sooner rather than later. She hasnt done anything to upset the other housemates and has fought their corner when Shabaz was acting appallingly during his short stay. However, she has not formed any real alliances and may find herself picked off within the next few weeks.

Bonnie Holt
Win Odds: 66/1 (Bet365)
Bonnie (or Bonneh as she pronounces it) has done very little to justify her chatterbox personality since entering the house and is red hot favourite for the first eviction. Bonnie has melted in to the background and has been hardly noticeable on the highlights shows bar a few harsh words for Shabaz and moaning to Big Brother about not receiving her suitcase. This Rosie Webster look-a-like is like a fish out of water away from her native Loughborough and is one of several horribly miscast house mate members this series. Gone on Friday and wont be missed.

Dawn Blake
Dawn was ejected from the Big Brother house after eight days but threatened to leave on her own accord shortly after Shabaz walked on day six. She was officially expelled from the house due to receiving coded communication from the outside world but was not a particularly popular housemate in any case. She was accused by Nikki, although not to her face, of stinking out everyone elses clothes with her body odour due to not showering for four days.

Shabaz Chauhdry
Shabaz was another example of dreadful miscasting. The producers were hoping for an older, more extreme version of last years Kemal, but what they got instead was a mentally deranged idiot who couldnt cope with living and interacting with other people. He lasted six days before leaving of his own accord and wont be missed in the slightest.

When choosing a pioneer car audio MP3 its important to address a few key questions.

How much do you want to spend?? What features are most important to you?

An MP3 is a way to encode audio that compresses data so it can store a lot more of it while keeping a high standard of quality. Pioneer has a long-standing reputation for quality and also for being one of the easiest car audio systems to install and use. They make a range of car audio that can play MP3s, including the lower end DEH-P3700MP for a little over $100 to the AVICD1 navigation system for about $1,600. If you are looking for a basic system to play CDs and MP3s, a simpler system will be fine. But, if you want more features like navigation or a DVD player you will pay a lot more for a higher end system.

One of the most important things to look for is how you are going to navigate through all of your MP3 files, especially while driving.

If you have a large library of music, you will need to find an MP3 player that makes browsing through the discs as easy as possible. Many discs can hold up to about 250 songs, and its crucial that you can find exactly what youre looking for as quickly as possible. One of the most reasonably priced MP3 players Pioneer makes is the DEH-P5500M, which costs around $270 and allows you to organize files by artist, track, folder name, file name, and album. It also has satellite radio and CD changer controls. Its also imperative that you check that the discs you use on your computer for music are compatible with the ones for the MP3 player, otherwise you might end up with a library of music that wont play in your car. ID tags to identify songs must be a certain version compatible with the cars system, or youll end up with a lot of unusable music. If you figure out what youre looking for, you can make an educated decision about which system will best suit your budget and your listening needs.

Having an attention-grabbing resume is one of the most important parts of the job search. Your resume and cover letter are your introduction to a potential employer; and without a strong introduction, you may never get another chance to make a good impression. As a result, the success of your job hunt can hang on how well your resume is written.

Maybe you are entering the work force after graduating from college. Or maybe you just need to find a new job. Regardless of why you are looking for work, a skilled resume writer has the power to help you get your foot in the door.

Why Should I Use a Resume Writer?

Resume writing services are more than just a word processing or proofreading service. A resume writer takes your work experience, education, your strengths and weakness, and ties it all up into one little package. Although people usually think of their resume as a simplistic listing of their education and experience, it is actually more like a sales document. In order for your resume to effectively sell you, it not only has to be well written and visually appealing, but also has to present the goods – you – in the best possible light.

Sound easy? Of course not. Why is it, then, that so many people attempt to write their resumes on their own? You wouldn’t try to write a legal contract when the outcome could impact the rest of your life – you would hire a lawyer. By the same token, you should entrust your resume to a professional resume writer.

What Does a Resume Writer Do?

A resume writer’s goal is to convince potential employers that you are perfect for the job. In order to sell your strengths, a resume writer will:

  • Discuss your career focus and gear your resume to your unique goals
  • Choose the best format to highlight your strengths
  • Write an attention-getting summary or list of objectives
  • Use convincing language to maximize your strengths and minimize your weaknesses
  • Personalize your resume in a way that shows you off to your best advantage
  • Make your resume available in different file formats if needed
  • Make changes as necessary

Of course, a resume doesn’t really stand by itself. Your career decisions, where and how you search for jobs, and the quality of your cover letter all impact how your resume is received. In other words, if you are looking for work in the wrong places, or don’t introduce your resume properly in the cover letter, it won’t matter how dazzling your resume is.

Resume writing services often offer a whole package approach to resume writing. To ensure that you land your dream job, your resume writer may offer additional services, such as:

  • Career consultation
  • Job search consultation
  • Cover letter writing
  • Resume distribution
  • Interview preparation

What Should I Look for in a Resume Writing Service?

A good resume writing service is one that offers you everything necessary to get the attention of potential employers. When shopping for a resume writer, you should look for:

  • Convincing literature on their services - Whether you are browsing a website or looking at an informational pamphlet, pay close attention to how convincing the literature is. If they can’t sell themselves, they likely won’t be able to do a good job of selling you.
  • A good reputation - Don’t forget to Google! If a resume writing service is worth its salt, you should be able to find good reports from happy customers. Even more importantly, if they aren’t any good you are almost certain to find complaints.
  • Experience - Your career is in your resume writer’s hands, so make sure you choose someone with experience. If your career is in a specialized field, you might even want to look for a resume writer who specializes in the field – a writing service that knows the industry will also know what its employers look for in a resume.
  • Education - Submitting a resume with errors is embarrassing enough, but when you’ve paid to have it done right it’s downright tragic. Make sure your resume writer is educated and/or certified, so that you can be sure you’re getting your money’s worth.
  • Personal attention - You don’t want someone who is going to simply plug your information into a resume writing program – you could do that yourself. In order for your resume to stand out, it needs a unique touch that can only be achieved if your resume writer has taken the time to discuss it with you.

Of course, when you are shopping for a resume writing service, don’t forget to listen to your gut. You will have to work closely with the writer during the creation of your resume, so it is important to feel comfortable with him or her.

Putting Your Career First

Hiring a resume writer ensures that your resume looks professional and gets attention. Although the expense may seem unnecessary, consider that you have already invested thousands of dollars into your education so that you could simply get to this point. When your entire career is at stake, don’t throw it away over a typo or a passive verb! A resume writing service can help you make your dream job a reality.

Changes for the 2006-2007 School Year at San Jose Schools

Following in the footsteps of both federal and state trends to limit junk food and provide better nutrition to students, San Jose Schools will implement new some changes starting in September 2006. These changes may appear sudden but actually is part of a long term goal for improving student nutrition. San Jose Schools have been working to improve student nutrition over the past few years. San Jose Schools have already removed fried chips and carbonated beverages from all kindergarten-eighth grade schools. A lot of the changes occurring in September are a result of new federal laws. The new policy states that for a school to receive federal funds for their school lunch program they must institute a Wellness Policy. The Wellness Policy is a nutrition program that is designed and approved by the school board. In order to better meet these guidelines the San Jose Schools have created the SHAPE committee. The SHAPE committee is made up of school food service personnel, a school board member, district employees, health care professionals, concerned parents, and community members.

The Nutrition Policy

The Nutrition Policy states that all food on a San Jose Schools campus must meet the state nutritional guidelines for fat and sugar and fat content. The biggest effect of this policy for parents is that homemade baked goods will not be allowed on campus. San Jose Schools will make more snakes available at schools that meet these guidelines and provide a list of approved store bought snakes. Fundraisers that involve the sale of food items must be planned with and agreed to by the school. The San Jose Schools will actively encourage fundraisers that are not based around food sale but instead are based around physical activity. All San Jose Schools, including high schools, will ban carbonated soft drinks this school year. Classroom parties with food will be limited to one per month.

Nutrition Guidelines for Foods Available at San Jose Schools

The San Jose School Board is planning to adopt a series of new guidelines covering the nutritional concerns of students. This is done in order to meet to the growing concerns about student health and reducing childhood obesity. The San Jose School Board believes that there was a growing disparity between the foods available at school and the health curriculum. Strict guidelines have been adopted all foods and beverages sold to students, including foods and beverages provided through the San Jose Schools food service program, student stores, vending machines, or fundraisers. The new policy also set guidelines for the San Jose Schools staff in using food items as a reward; the staff will be encouraged to use healthy alternatives or a different non-food choice as a reward for students academic performance, accomplishments, or classroom behavior. There is a plan to help parents by providing healthy foods list. The guidelines per food item include: No more than 35% of total calories from fat excluding legumes, nuts, nut butters, seeds, eggs, vegetables that have not been deep fried and cheese packaged for individual sale; No more than 10% of total calories from saturated fat; No more than 35% added sugar by weight; 175 Calories (elementary schools) and 250 Calories (middle and high schools). While an individually sold entre may have no more than 4 grams of fat per 100 calories, 400 calories total.

Why Get Into a Resume Business?

I was stuck at my job and barely covering my monthly expenses. I was working 45+ hours per week and had no time for my family or to relax. My job was hopeless and I new I needed something to get my head above water. I started many small businesses that failed or cost too much to startup.

I decided it was time for a new job and I needed a resume. I began buying all types of resume how-to books. In a few days I wrote a professional resume by myself. My resume was so sharp that I was getting calls for interviews right away. My friends were not even close to getting jobs, so I offered to write there resume for free. Within 4 weeks, they all had news jobs. It felt outstanding to see my friends happy because of a service that I provided them. So I began to think about starting a Resume Writing Service where I can help others all over the world!

I began with a small ad in the Yellowpages listing my service. I had received no more than a call a week and was charging $45 to write a resume from scratch. With an extra couple hundred dollars in my pocket each month I wanted more. I then started passing out flyers at local Universities all up and down the State. I offered a special for recent graduates and before I knew it I had an average of 2.9 clients a week from the colleges.

Business was picking up and all this work was done after my full-time job at nights. I was getting exhausted, but I still wanted more business. Efficiency was low, since I had to call up the client and ask them a ton of questions in order to write their resume. I needed a Website!

I needed to get my customers online to fill out my questionnaire and place the orders in a database where I can access the orders from anywhere. The website would have to be easy to navigate and direct the customers to the order form without any extra steps or obstacles. A clear and concise site was very important to me, as I would have all different types of backgrounds of people exploring the site and looking for a professional resume.

I hired a team of webmasters from Contender Career Solutions to create this website to my exact specifics. They did an outstanding job and I was online in about a week. I knew there was a lot of competition on the internet, so I stuck to advertising the way I knew best, but this time listed my website address instead of my home phone number.

I pumped more money into my advertising campaigns. I hired a few college kids to pass out flyers all over the Universities. I listed in Yellowpages in different states. I was now a servicing people all over the world. I was writing 2 resumes a night and 6-10 on the weekends. Best of all, I was now making more money than my day job and my expenses were extremely low. During the initial months of the website I was making just about $2,000 per month.

I then began to boost my advertising even more by running specials such as 50% off all resume packages. The package included a resume, cover letter, and follow-up letter. The competition could not handle my low prices. My cheapest package now sold for just $50! Remember the cost to make this resume is next to nothing. Although some resumes took longer to write than others, it all balances out at the end of the day. With $50 resume packages, I was now getting home from work at 6:00p.m. and writing resumes until midnight each day. My weekends were pretty much full of resume orders. On some weekends I had over a dozen orders to fulfill!!! That came to over $500 in a day.

Well, no one can really keep up that pace for long so I had to find or create some shortcuts or hire help to write the resumes. I put “Hiring” ad up on the website and had some good feedback. The candidate had to show me resumes they have written and also write a one page resumes based on the information I have provided. Many of the candidates were rather average and I just couldn’t see paying them a nice percentage to write a resume that may give my company a poor name.

I then thought to myself what If I can get some customized software for my computer that can aide my writers to writing professional resumes? And that I did. We obtained 6 copies of most valuable software to any resume business owner. My resume writing time averaged about 1.1 hours. Now I was writing resumes in 22 minutes on average. I was now able to spend time with my family and eat dinner with them and then writing 3 resumes in a hour before I went to bed. The software is a must have!!!

Who would of thought that I could head a global business from the comfort of my small bedroom computer. I left my job shortly after obtaining the software and working 25-30 hours per week with the resume business. I now have time to take vacations with my family and take off whenever I need to.

The best thing about my business is that it is rewarding! I feel great when I hear the client nailed the interview.

Tim Fagan is a 16-year-old boy who had been rushed to New York University Medical Center for an emergency liver transplant in February of 2004. Daily injections of Epogen, a medication for the treatment of severe anemia, was given Fagan. However, there was no improvement in his red blood cell count. Moreover, the teen-ager would always complain of severe and painful muscle cramps everytime an injection was administered. Doctors were left in a quandary as to why the medication was not working. It took almost two months before the news broke out that the medication being adminitered was a counterfeit.

Hockey is one of the most physically demanding games known to man. This intense sport requires that a skater have as much strategy and skill as football or baseball player in addition to the strength that only a conditioned athlete can bring to the ice, and a kind of ferocity that is a rare quality indeed. Hockey players must tolerate quite a bit of pain and discomfort, and serious players must be able and willing to participate in very heavy training all through the year to remain competitive. Unlike many sports that primarily require endurance, Hockey is all about sudden short bursts of extremely intense activity. This makes hockey a very different kind of physical challenge than a sport like soccer where movement is lower-intensity but continuous.

A hockey player must be able to rev their personal engine from zero to sixty in a matter of seconds. At the pro level, a hockey player rarely spends more than a full minute at a time actively skating on the ice. Between those brief flurries of almost manic activity, a player can recover and catch his or her breath, but must remain alert and in readiness for the next explosion of action on the ice. Suddenly jumping from a fairly passive and relaxed state to the height of speed and power isnt easy. The discipline and talent a hockey player must posses in order to do this well are often a large part of what separates the amateurs from the professionals.

The need to be able to swiftly transition from a state of rest to one of peak activity requires specific forms of training that focus on shortening response times and achieving graceful and efficient movement without much of a warm up. A hockey skaters workout regimen contains many predictable activities like lifting weights and jogging, but one place where many players go in order to improve their agility and response time proves to be somewhat surprising to many sports fans.

Although classical music and pink tulle are the last things most people associate with the rough and tumble sport of hockey, many players train at ballet studios. From young boys and girls who are in amateur junior leagues all the way up to Olympic-level hockey players, spending time refining plies at the ballet barre often proves to give skaters a leg up on the ice.

From dance studios to weight rooms to jogging tracks, a hockey player must train his or her body in a variety of ways to prepare for what many consider the most physically demanding of all sports. Between the strenuous flurries of activity, the psychological stress of performance, the lack of warm up time, and the bulky padding of a hockey uniform, a player at the top level of competitive hockey may sweat away up to eight pounds of water weight during the course of a single game. There is no other sport where this kind of drastic weight loss due to exertion happens so quickly. A hockey players body must be prepared to safely weather this kind of ordeal on a regular basis, which requires a level of physical fitness that few other sports require.

For Stay at Home Moms
Posted on November 27th, 2011 at 10:13 PM by admin

Running a full time home base business.is difficult, especially when you are trying to give your children the attention they deserve. Most stay at home moms try too hard to balance the family life with their business, and is only thinking of the financial part instead of setting up a plan from the beginning. This is the reason that so many mothers choose to work at home.

They want to establish some type of financial standings while still being able to watch over their children. Making money online can be a great idea for stay at home moms. It provides a flexible schedule as well as the benefit of little commuting. Some examples of great ways to make money online are: owning a home business, completing surveys, freelancing, and reading emails. Providing mothers with the best ways to make an income online, these opportunities put money into moms’ pockets.

Owning an online business can be difficult, but if a person is dedicated it can be very beneficial. Even though these businesses are not an easy task, they will still provide moms enough time with their children. There are many businesses to choose from. Some of the businesses require a fee to provide you with a product to sell. Others, such as Cognigen, will provide products and a website for free.

Completing surveys gives mothers total freedom. Because surveys are taken only when one agrees to take them, they are perfect for moms who children need constant care. The amount of money earned from surveys depends on how many surveys a person is willing to answer. A mom can earn from $25 to $600 a month from answering surveys.

Freelancing is a broad way to make money online. Freelancers are hired on to a company as a contractor. In many cases freelancing allows one to earn money for what he/she loves. One example is a mother who loves to write. There are many online opportunities for writing. The mother may start a blog or write articles on parenting. She may even put her creative writing skills to the test by writing short stories. There are other freelancing prospects such as cartooning, web design, consulting, data entry, and desktop publishing. The list of freelance jobs is abundant.

The popularity of reading emails is rising higher each day. While this is not a great way to earn large amounts of money, it is an excellent way to earn a few extra dollars. Reading emails is a fairly easy way for stay at home moms to earn money. Emails are sent to the email address that is set up with the program. Money, which is stored to an account, is paid to the Person who reads the email. Most of the programs have a minimum payout. The company will only pay a person once the minimum has been reached. One should have a separate email address just for the purpose of the emails. One can use the same email address, but it is not recommended since so many emails will be sent.

There are many other ways of making money online; it is not uncommon to see a professional create a home business in computer programming, accounting, medical billing, and many other fields. Making money online has never been easier. All that is required is a computer, a reliable Internet connection, and an idea.

Oftentimes the most challenging task involved in making money online is coming up with the perfect idea. We’re not all computer programmers, web developers, or content writers. However, we all have some talent or skill that others will pay for. Making money online is as simple as figuring out what you do well and deciding how to leverage that talent into an opportunity.

For example, a friend of mine had little computer experience, but was interested in making money online. I suggested that she think about what she enjoyed doing and using that as the basis for her home business. She said that her greatest skill was the creation of unique homemade jewelry items. She hired another home business professional (a web designer) to build a website for her and she is now making money online selling her jewelry creations.

Making money online by starting a home business is not the daunting task that many budding entrepreneurs assume. If you carefully consider your skills and talents and figure out how to leverage those abilities on the Internet, you’ll be making money online in no time. The key thing is staying with it once you start, so many people will start a home business and after a few months when the money doesnt start rolling in as fast as they though it should, most just give up.

In order to succeed in any online business you have to Constance remind yourself why you started the business in the first place, this will keep you motivated and on track during those hard times, and they will come.

A used farm tractor is the perfect solution for a growing farm wanting to grow and cut costs at the same time. Used farm machines generally come with a much lower price tag then a brand new tractor for sale, but you still need to do your research and set your budget before you head out to look for used tractors around your area. A cost-effective solution for farms with less capital to purchase new tractors is to buy a compact tractor, which has the capabilities of completing many different farm jobs. Compact tractors also come in a variety of different engines, so you can pick the best size that is appropriate for the work you will be doing in your farm.

If you are worried about buying a lemon tractor, then you should purchase certified used tractors from reputable agricultural equipment companies like John Deere (my personal favorite), Kubota, Caterpillar, Farmall, and Case for example.

If you find that your farm work is much lighter, then purchasing a compact tractor might be the best option. Compact tractors come with many parts that let you do a variety of light farm work.

Where To Find Used Tractors For Sale

An experienced farmer or buyer of agricultural equipment like tractors can tell you that there is no real benefit of buying a new tractor over getting a used tractor for sale. While there are some clear benefits of getting a new tractor over a used tractor, both can equally get a good amount of work done.

The first places you should look to find used tractors for sale are Sears, local auctions, and local distributors of franchised agricultural tractor producers. You might be surprised that many farms in your area might be selling their used farm tractors to upgrade to a more heavy duty and technological advanced tractor.

Checklist For Buying A Used Farm Tractor

1. Spare Parts – Whatever you may choose, be sure to know about any replacement parts that need to be purchased frequently, so you know your average yearly investment in the used tractor.

2. Age – The age can give you a better estimate of what you can expect the price to be on the tractor, and you can keep this average with you so you know if your really getting a deal when its time to purchase the used tractor.

3. Engine Hours – This correlates with “age”, because you want to know how much life the tractor has left. Some used tractor sellers will sell you a machine that’s ready to work for a few months and then die. So do not just look at how the used tractor looks like in general, look under the hood!

4. History – Its best you know from the current owner what the used tractors jobs were around the farm and about many repairs it has undergone. Beware of lemon used tractors, always ask about the repair history and/or major damages done to the used tractor.

5. Make & Model – This is not as important, but some farmers have created a loyalty to some used tractor brands, such as John Deere. Ask friends and family about their personal experiences with used tractors, and you can even go to online forums for opinions on a specific used tractor model.

6. Cabin – If your used tractor is going to do a lot of jobs around the farm, you want to be sure that you are controlling the tractor with comfort!

7. 4WD vs. 2WD – Do you need more power? or less power? This has to do with my talk about if your used tractor will be for light farm work or for heavy duty jobs. The price difference between the 2 can be quite significant, so be sure to sit down and think about this one.

To find out more about used john deere tractors [http://used-john-deere-tractors.com/] visit my website. Purchasing a tractor for a farm can become a big investment. Getting a brand new tractor can become a bigger investment than you planned. I will explain why buying a used tractor can be just as good as buying new. Read my article to learn where to look for used tractors and what things you need to look at during your intent to buy.

Gone are the days of having to stand in line at the post office just to mail a package. These days, thanks to the advancement of the internet and technology, postal customers can now print postage from the convenience of their own home. Using a standard printer, along with USPS Click-N-Ship software, consumers can print shipping labels, postage stamps and even delivery confirmation numbers.

Many individuals, who make their living at online auction sites, are constantly in need of additional convenience relating to mailing and expenses. The software, which installs quickly, is one way to save shippers a bundle of time by allowing them to print postage directly from their printer. Using standard typing paper, the software enables the shipper to print a complete label featuring the return address, shipping address, barcode and a delivery confirmation.

Widely promoted as being a shipping convenience, the Click-N-Ship software often goes unrecognized for one of its best features. If purchased at the post office, delivery confirmation is $0.45 per package but, with Click-N-Ship, its free. Consider mailing 100 packages per month with delivery confirmation. At the post office, customers would pay $45.00 but, with the software, they save that amount of money. Over time, free delivery confirmation can add up to a bundle of cash and, if shipping is your business, it pays to save wherever possible. Before mailing the packages with delivery confirmation, it may be a good idea to keep a record of each shipment and its corresponding tracking number. This will be very beneficial to any shipper who may later need to provide proof of shipment.

In order to properly use the Click-N-Ship software, customers must have some idea as to the weight of their package. Therefore, it may be a good investment to purchase a portable postage scale. In addition, customers will be prompted for the dimensions of their package prior to obtaining a total. With Click-N-Ship software, customers pay for their postage online before being able to print any labels. This eliminates the need to stand in line at the post office because the postage has already been calculated, printed and affixed to each package. In fact, many shippers simply take a box full of packages for mailing, which have been postage-paid using the Click-N-Ship software, into their post office and leave them for later processing.

The USPS Click-N-Ship software is available for free download at usps.com or included on selected AOL software CDs as a bonus. Otherwise, customers may be able to ask their postmaster for additional information on obtaining a copy of the Click-N-Ship software.

A new car sounds lovely doesn’t it? Imagine the purr of the new engine and the looks you will get as you drive down the road in the latest model of your chosen car. However, we also know that the new model of today will be the old superseded model in the not too distant future and that the value of the car will go down very quickly.

So with this in mind we really need to be careful when considering whether or not to buy a new car.

Before rushing off to the car yard, you should grab out a large sheet of paper and write up the top “Do I really need to buy a new vehicle?” Then let the brain cells take a journey and come up with all of the reasons that you can to justify going out and getting a new car. Underneath this, write down all of the reasons to justify why you shouldn’t go out and buy a new car.

Here are some ideas to get you started and some common reasons that people write down:

1. Reasons to buy a new car

Car too small / big

  • Starting a family and need more room
  • Can’t fit in all of my gear
  • Can’t transport all of the kids and their friends around
  • It is just us now so we don’t need such a large car
  • We are going away so we need more leg room and storage capacity

No air conditioning

  • It is just so hot each summer we bake in our car

No air bags

  • The car has never been fitted with air bags

Lacking accessories (stereo / cd player / gps)

  • We need to have a cd player
  • Some new vehicles have an in built GPS so we need one too
  • The stereo is broken so we need to replace the car

Costing too much money to run

  • I am always spending money on this car
  • The car always seems to be at my mechanic

Need to look good at work

  • My car is a status symbol of my wealth
  • My boss would look down on me if I didn’t drive a new car
  • Having a new car will portray a message to my clients that I am very successful

Too old

  • My car is x years old so it needs to be replaced
  • I have had this car x years so it is time for an upgrade to a new model
  • This model is old, I need the newer model

Petrol guzzler

  • I am always putting fuel into this car
  • I checked my credit card statement and boy my car is thirsty
  • I used to put in $x of fuel a week and now I am putting in $y

Running too fast / slow

  • I can’t keep up with every one else on the road
  • My foot is almost flat to the floor and yet we hardly seem to be moving
  • If I don’t sell this I am going to do damage to someone as it just zips off so fast I can’t keep in control

Want security of a new vehicle warranty

  • I do a lot of travel for work and I want peace of mind if something was to happen
  • If the car is under a warranty I won’t have to spend any money on it

No longer road worthy

  • The mechanic said the car isn’t road worthy
  • I don’t think the car would pass a road worthy test

Want to keep up with the Jones

  • My friend has just purchased one of these new cars so I want one
  • The neighbours have just purchased a new car so we should also buy one

I have been offered a good trade in

  • The new car sales man has offered me a good trade in
  • I want to trade now whilst I can get good value for my current car

I want a diesel vehicle

  • I want to change from petrol to diesel as I heard it is more fuel efficient

I need a ute / 4wd / sedan

  • I want to change from a sedan to a ute
  • I need to trade the ute for a 4wd
  • I need a 4wd for my upcoming holiday
  • I need a ute so I can shift houses

2. Reasons not to buy a new car

Can’t afford it

  • The repayments will be too high
  • It is a lot of money for me to spend on a car
  • The loan will take me 7 years+ to pay back

Don’t really need a new car

  • I am being silly, I don’t really need a new car
  • There are other things I need ahead of getting a new car

Old car is going well

  • My old car works just fine
  • I can always get from A to B so what else do I need

Too expensive

  • Although it is new, I feel it is still very expensive
  • There is a big gap between 2nd hand cars of 2-3 years to the price on these new cars

Will drop in value too quickly

  • I have heard as soon as you drive a new car out of the show room they drop significantly in value
  • 2nd hand cars seem like a much better alternative, I have seen they are much lower in value

Expensive on-road costs and stamp duties

  • When I buy a new car I will have to incur extra fees such as on-road costs and stamp duties. Aren’t these costs in the thousands?

Insurance will increase

  • When I get a new car, I know my insurance premium will increase significantly

Young family

  • I don’t know if my kids will look after a new car or treat it well; they are always banging the car doors into things
  • I know that kids are kids and it is hard to keep a car nice with them around

Have better things to spend my money on

  • I do have a lot of other important items on my wish list; a new fridge, high school fees, reduce mortgage, etc

Work may provide a vehicle

  • Work may offer me a car as part of my package at my next salary review

3. Then you need to carefully look at both lists and to analyse all of the reasons you have written down

  • How important is the reason you wrote down?
  • Look through your list and decide which reasons you have written down contain something that is a must have – this might be for safety reasons or security
  • Be careful here and very honest with yourself with what you consider to be absolutely critical
  • Look through your list and decide which items you have written down is a nice to have but something that you could do without – this might be a gadget or feature of the car that isn’t absolutely critical
  • Take the time to rank each item from 1 to 10 in level of importance
  • Look through your list of reasons not to buy a new car. How strong and valid are these reasons?
  • It is important that you spend a decent amount of time doing this exercise and that you are somewhere nice and quiet where you can really think about yourself very carefully. This exercise could save you thousands of dollars!

4. As part of your analysis you should now spend time looking for alternatives. Start with the items that are of highest importance to you.

Car too small / big

  • Consider hiring a trailer
  • Consider hiring a car for the holidays
  • Clean out your car and see what space you then have

No air conditioning

  • Check out the cost to have this fitted to your current car

No air bags

  • Check out the cost to have this fitted to your current car

Lacking accessories (stereo / cd player / gps)

  • How much will it cost to have one fitted
  • Can you use a portable cd player / stereo
  • How much is a portable GPS
  • Can you make do with the radio

Costing too much money to run

  • Work out how much your car has actually cost you over 12 mths
  • Seek a professional opinion on the vehicle from your mechanic or local automobile club
  • Look carefully at how you treat your vehicle. Are you causing some of this cost?
  • What about your driving habits? Is this the cause of costing you money? Ie heavy braking or is your foot too heavy on the accelerator

Need to look good at work

  • You can still look good in a later model vehicle
  • Talk to your boss about being provided with a company car when you need to entertain clients
  • Talk to your boss about hiring cars / taxis when you need to entertain clients or travel
  • It seems pointless trying to look wealthy by owning a new vehicle if it is causing you financial grief and hardship. You will not be successful in your career if you spend all day worrying about how to pay your bills
  • Consider that a new car may put some clients off – your services may appear too expensive or that you don’t value money as you spend it on unnecessary items that decrease in value

Too old

  • How old is too old? There are some decent vehicles on the road that are 7-10 years old that are still running perfectly
  • Who states that there is a set time frame that you need to replace your vehicle
  • What will the newer model provide you with that your current car doesn’t provide you with

Petrol guzzler

  • Look at how much running around you are doing and whether or not you can seek alternatives such as car pooling, doing multiple tasks whilst out
  • Has your car been serviced recently? You might have a problem with your car that is easy to fix that is causing the extra fuel consumption
  • Consider how much the price of fuel has risen recently. Is this the real reason your petrol has increased
  • How much of the fuel bill on the credit card contains other items such as food and drink that you bought at the petrol station?

Running too fast / slow

  • Has your car been serviced recently? You might have a problem with your car that is easy to fix that is causing this to happen

Want security of a new vehicle warranty

  • Understand what is offered under the warranty
  • Consider having road side assistance from your local automobile club in case of break down
  • Keep your vehicle regularly serviced
  • Travel with a mobile phone so you can call for help in the case of an emergency

No longer road worthy

  • Get a couple of opinions on the road worthy status of your vehicle from a mechanic or your local automobile club
  • Establish how much it will cost to get the vehicle road worthy
  • Seek a professional’s opinion on this matter

Want to keep up with the Jones

  • Why why why, do you need to keep up with what someone else is doing?
  • Be an individual and live your own life and not those of others

I have been offered a good trade in

  • A trick / marketing strategy for selling new cars is to lure people in by offering a high trade in
  • You either get a high trade in or low purchase price – it generally doesn’t happen that you get both
  • Is the salesman playing around with figures? They sometimes up the price of the trade in and lower the discount on the new car OR they sometimes lower the price on the new car and lower the price on the trade in
  • If you waited a year or two before swapping vehicles, what do you think you might get as a trade in then

I want a diesel vehicle

  • How much will it cost to get diesel fitted to your current car
  • Are there any government rebates in relation to diesel fitouts

I need a ute / 4wd / sedan

  • Can you hire the ute / 4wd / sedan for the particular period of use if it is only short term / one off
  • Can you borrow a friend’s ute / 4wd / sedan
  • Is it worth paying a tradesperson to do your job to negate this requirement

What do you think of the current standard of the football referees in the English Premiership? Do you think a system of video replays should be introduced to help these referees and to stop what are some important mistakes being made? These two questions are things which myself and my friends debate on a regular basis, especially after a few beers.

I will never forget attending a football match a few years ago which was played in one of the leagues below the Premiership. It was a very important match between my favourite team Birmingham City and one of their local rivals Stoke City. It was an important match because Birmingham really needed to win the game as they were in danger of being relegated in that particular season. The three points for the win would certainly have helped them in their quest to survive.

With only around ten minutes of the match remaining Birmingham were leading a tense match by one goal to nil. Then one of the Stoke players barged the Birmingham keeper, who had the ball in his hands, over. The ball slipped from his grasp and one of the other Stoke players kicked it into an unguarded net.

I was certain that the referee would have seen what was a definite foul on our keeper, as I am sure was every other supporter in the stadium. To my and all of the other Birmingham supporters horror, he did not and he let the goal stand. I am normally quite a calm person but became so angry it was untrue. The next thing that happened was one of the Birmingham fans ran onto the pitch and fully punched this referee in the face. The players were taken off the pitch while order was restored.

I remember thinking at the time that this referee had deserved to be hit, but I later changed my mind, once I had had time to calm down. We are all capable of making a mistake of course.

I really believe in the argument that video replays should be introduced in some capacity, as in this case the goal would not have been allowed to stand.

Week in week out in the Premiership many mistakes are made which have a huge impact on the results of different matches. Football is such big business these days with the players earning such huge sums of money, surely we should have something in place to ensure that some of these errors are stopped during the match and are not merely things to debate after it.

I actually feel quite sorry for the football referees these days. With so many matches on the television they are being scrutinised more than ever. Even if they only get one decision wrong over the course of the match they still receive criticism.

I personally think that the overall standard of referees in the Premiership is very good and that we should start to get off these peoples back. I would however like each referee to be interviewed after each match in the same way as the football managers are. By doing this they could explain to the supporters why they made certain decisions during the match. They could also be shown a reply of some of the bigger incidents and asked to comment on whether they think they made the correct decision after viewing the replay.
